What grade do I deserve?
I think the grade I deserve is from the range 90-95. I've done all the blog posts and I think I've done good. I try to do the best on my blogs and I don't have all of them missing. It's the end of the semester and I think I can end on a good note.

Favorite Earth Science Topics
Geology

My favorite section in science was section 5.1. That section was about weathering. I don't know why it's my favorite, but it is. I just like the Chemical and Mechanical weathering. I just think it's cool at how the rocks change and differ from where it started.
Meteorology

My favorite in this section was when we talked about the earth's atmosphere. I didn't know the earth was divided into four different sections and how they had different temperature levels.
Oceanography

My favorite about this section was about the offshore drilling. I liked this section because we did the whole soccratic seminar and we got to put ourselves in peopl's places. I also learned more about offshore drilling and the election itself.
Astronomy

I think that this was my favorite topic so far. I liked talking about the stars, the sun and the planets. I just thought it was so cool. I think I learned the most from this subject out of all the rest.

H-R Diagram

1. The main sequence is where most of the stars are.
2. Most of the stars are in the main sequence or 90%.
3. The Sun is a main sequence star.
4. The Sun will explode in about 1 billion years.
5. The HR Diagram is a diagram that shows the relationship betwee the absolute magnitude and temperature of stars.

Stars
1. Ten stars would be: Maia, Marfik, Sun, Mebusta, Keid, Kurah, Capella, Caph, Dubhe, and Cujab.
2. I chose the Sun.
3. This star is classified as a yellow dwarf star. The sun doesn't belong to any constellation.
4. There are eight planets that orbit the sun. We live on one called Earth. The others are terrestial/jovian planets.
5. This star is apart of the Milky Way galaxy.
6. Distance from earth to the Sun: 1AU.

Factors That Affeect Wind
1. The three factors that effect wind are: Pressure Differences, the Coriolis Effect, and Friction.
2. I think the one that has the greatest affect would be the Coriolis Effect because it affects where planes are going and you have to steer another way.
3. If the Coriolis Effect stopped, planes would go straight.
